Challenge
SweetSpot's intelligent algorithm identifies the most optimal CPT codes for both remote and in-person diabetes management, and a dedicated team of Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialists are available to provides ongoing support. As a company founded and powered by physicians and diabetes care providers, we place a strong emphasis on ensuring that there are no obstacles to getting started with SweetSpot. The challenge was to revamp their existing brand and product and to empower and modernize the company for growth, traction, and funding going forward.
Results
I lead a transformation towards design excellence. Elevating the Figma designs to industry standards, I'm implementing a robust design system in collaboration with developers, ensuring scalability and consistency. The UI redesign, harmonizing with the implemented design system, paves the way for seamless growth. Moreover, I redesigned the look and feel of their brand, creating an appealing brand with visual consistent across the board. In partnership with leadership, I'm architecting a scalable design team for a brighter, more efficient future.

Process
Research & Analysis: I conducted user interviews, surveys, and analyzed in-app analytics to understand the pain points and user needs. I also studied competitor apps and industry trends to gather insights
Information Architecture: Based on the research findings, I restructured the web-app's navigation and content, prioritizing features and information according to user needs.
Wireframing & Prototyping: I designed low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the new layout and navigation, iteratively refining them based on user feedback. Afterward, I built a high-fidelity, interactive prototype to test the design.
Usability Testing: I conducted usability tests with a diverse group of users to validate the design and identify areas for improvement. Based on the feedback, I made necessary adjustments to the design.
Visual Design & Style Guide: I developed a cohesive visual language, including color schemes, typography, and iconography, ensuring consistency throughout the app. We also created a style guide to maintain design consistency in future updates.

Conclusion
SweetSpot is a dynamic, ongoing project recently boosted by funding from the Missouri Technology Corporation grant and private investors. We're rapidly scaling, onboarding new practices every month, and continuously enhancing our modernized product with new features. To the moon!
